Our Story
Welcome to Pupper Dups Yummy Nums, where we believe in the transformative power of fresh, wholesome food for our furry friends. Our journey began with our beloved dog, Luna (left) (Ivy on right). Like many pet owners, we started feeding her what we thought was a good quality kibble. Despite our best efforts, Luna’s health began to decline—she gained weight, her coat lost its shine, and she developed persistent rashes.
Determined to find a solution, we experimented with various premium kibbles and even freeze-dried products, but the improvements were minimal. Realizing that fresh food might be the answer, we took the leap and started making Luna's meals ourselves. We researched extensively, learning about the best ingredients, the right balance of proteins, oils, and grains, and how to avoid common allergens like gluten and chicken.
Our first recipes included a lot of sweet potatoes, but we noticed Luna’s rashes improved significantly when we reduced the sweet potatoes and added more broccoli. Within weeks, Luna transformation began. Her coat became shiny and soft, her energy returned, and she lost over 30 pounds, reaching a healthy weight. Inspired by Luna’s recovery, we switched her younger sister Ivy to our homemade fresh food as well. Although Ivy wasn’t showing health issues, her energy and overall attitude improved noticeably.
Our dedication to providing the best nutrition led us to continuously refine our recipes. We introduced more high-quality proteins like salmon and beef liver, along with millet, a nutritious and hypoallergenic grain. Our fresh meals have been lab-tested and certified, ensuring they meet all nutritional requirements.
We are a large family with ten children, and we cherish the time spent together working on this business. Each of us plays a vital role in the production process, making it a true family endeavor. Hearing from our customers about how our food has improved their pets' lives brings us immense joy.
